General ads are placed in our advertising well (grayish blue area to the left with “Advertise with IQ Surfer” ads). When a participant starts a quest we assign two ads to the quest and participant. These ads are locked in, if a participant leaves the quest for any duration, when they return the same ads will be issued.

Ads can be generic and randomly selected for play on any subject or skill. Ads can also be assigned for specific subjects. Ads that are subject specific have priority when selected for placement.

    General Ad Costs:

  • For each Rec quest finished with your ad: $0.06
  • For each Amateur quest finished with your ad: $0.12
  • Minimum Commitment: $50

    Subject Specific (Non-Sponsorship Ad) Costs:

  • For each Rec quest finished with your ad: $0.12
  • For each Amateur quest finished with your ad: $0.24
  • Minimum Commitment: $100

    Benefits:

  • Location – the ad is placed in a location ideal for exposure. It is in the horizontal area where the main questions are issued – so your ad is right there!
  • Exposure - There is a maximum of two General Ads, two Affiliate Ads, and one Sponsorship Ad displayed per quest page.
  • You only pay for finished quests during our traffic drives – If your ad is issued to a participant’s quest and that participant does not finish the quest during our traffic drive – you don’t pay for it.
  • Low cost to display rate - Cost often translates to pennies per page displayed.
  • Budget protection - Once you reach your committed budget amount, we take you out of the selection process. You will not be charged more than what you have committed to.
  • Specific Demographics – Participants who finish quests are supportive of the nonprofit organization featured for that subject, are interested in the subject, or both.
  • Name Recognition – Your organization is known to support the social programs we are promoting.

By clicking on the name of the ad in the table above you can get a popup with more details on each ad's metrics. These metrics include cost per page. For calculation purposes we consider ads which are issued to quests that are not finished as having one page impression.

Ad sizes can be a maximum of 175 x 175 pixels.
